The featured story of our Newsletter is a story of a family, where success, happiness, understanding and lots of love are not occasional miracles, but a norm of their everyday lives.
While having peace and happiness in their own home, this family also takes part in creating peace and happiness for others. Along with their project Association for Peace and Understanding in the Middle East, which brings peace and tolerance in the Middle East region, the Lonsteins are also active supporters of other humanitarian organizations, such as Citizens Commission on Human Rights, International Association of Scientologists and The Way to Happiness Foundation.
Today we are speaking to Shiri Lonstein about Scientology and its influence in her family's life.
Born and raised in Israel, Shiri Lonstein was introduced to Scientology at the age of 9, when her parents were taking their very first courses. Shiri was so intrigued that she eventually got onher own course - Communication Course for Children.
Now Shiri is on the doorstep of the state of Clear after having completed a major auditing program at our Mission, known as Scientology Grades and New Era Dianetics.
Shiri, how do you feel the auditing you have gotten affected you personally ?
I am a totally different person. I have no barriers — if I want something, I go and get it. I have no fears: no fear of going to the dentist, for instance. I am full of energy, and I am never tired, which is a huge difference from before. I really enjoy life. Every day is fun. Life is really and truly great.
You are a mom of two kids. How did going up the Bridge affect you as a parent ?
As a mom I feel very comfortable and relaxed with my kids. Scientology auditing made me become calmer and happier and it reflects on my kids - they are very happy and rarely sick.
Your husband is also a long term Scientologist who is very active on the Bridge. Do you feel that makes a difference in your relationship?
The fact that we are both Scientologists and up the Bridge made our relationship stronger and better. We laugh together a lot. We don't fight. Our affinity, reality and communication are really at their peak.
Scientology brought joy to our family. The four of us are a great team. We feel that with Scientology we have the tools to solve anything.
How about relationships with others: friends, associates, etc. ?
My relationships with others are great. I don't get upset about "little things". My understanding of others, ability to communicate and overall affinity is very good.
You are a Scientologist with Jewish background. How do you feel Scientology influences that aspect of your life?
Being Jewish and a Scientologist always went hand in hand. Since I feel much more spiritual because of Scientology, it makes everything else spiritual closer to me. That's why it enhances me as a Jew.
Would you like to say anything else ?
Yes. Get on course and get auditing. It will make your life amazing in ways you never thought possible. Every session I went to was an adventure - an adventure that changed my life and lives of those around me.
